Cyril S. “Sid” Spiro is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Regent Bank, which he founded in 1986, and of Regent Bancorp, Inc., the Bank’s parent company. Regent Bank has offices in Broward and Palm Beach Counties serving small to medium size businesses and professionals.
From 1982 until 1984, Mr. Spiro served as Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Managing Committee of the Jim Pattison Group and Great Pacific Industries, Inc., a conglomerate headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. In addition, he served until 1985 as Chairman of Great Pacific Capital SA, Geneva, Switzerland.
Prior to joining the Jim Pattison Group, Mr. Spiro served over nine years with Bank of America NT and SA with his last position as Vice President and Head Southeast Region. Mr. Spiro during the course of his career served in a variety of other assignments in Geneva, London, Brussels, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Singapore. Mr. Spiro chaired numerous committees for the Town of Davie. He also served on the Boards of Directors of the Plantation Chamber of Commerce, Davie/Cooper City Chamber of Commerce, Florida Bankers’ Association, Rumbaugh-Goodwin Institute for Cancer Research, Inc., Smart Growth Partnership and Circle of Friends of the Nova Southeastern University Library. Mr. Spiro is Past Chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, Florida Atlantic University Broward Community Advisory Board, Independent Bankers’ Bank of Florida and Broward Housing Partnership. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Wharton Alumni Association and Broward Workshop.
In 2007, the EASE Foundation honored Mr. Spiro as the Humanitarian of the Year. Mr. Spiro and his wife, Tamara Tennant, were recognized by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as one of Fort Lauderdale’s Finest Couples that same year. He received the South Florida Business Journal’s Diamond CEO Award in 2009.
Mr. Spiro holds a Bachelor of Science Foreign Service Degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School. He and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time at their second home in Switzerland.

Neill LeCorgne is President and Chief Operating Officer of Regent Bank. Mr. LeCorgne joined Regent Bank from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle , where he managed marketing teams in the Federal Home Loan Bank System for 14 years. In that capacity, he worked closely with bank management teams to develop strategies to meet their business challenges, retail and wholesale targets, and asset/liability management objectives. He was directly responsible for marketing, sales and business development in the Seattle Home Loan Bank district. Prior to joining the Federal Home Loan Bank System in 1991, Mr. LeCorgne worked at Florida National Bank and First Union Corporation in their South Florida corporate banking division. Mr. LeCorgne is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami with Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and International Relations.

Jim has over 30 years of banking experience. He joined Regent Bank in 1995 from First State Bank, where he was the Branch Administrator for three years. Prior to that, he worked at Bank of America for 13 years, beginning his banking career as a part-time Teller at the age of 16 at what was then known as Pan American Bank. He worked in numerous capacities through various mergers, including NCNB and NationsBank name changes, until he left as a Branch Manager of one of Bank of America’s largest Florida offices.
Jim is originally from Levittown, Pennsylvania and met his wife, Lisa while the two worked together at Pan American Bank. They have been married for 25 years and Lisa now works as a preschool teacher. They have three daughters, two that graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers and one that currently attends the university.

Dawn Calder has over 28 years of banking experience working 25 of those years in Palm Beach County. Dawn joined Regent Bank in 2009 as Senior Vice President, Regional Manager. For 9 years prior, she held numerous positions at Grand Bank & Trust of Florida as Senior Vice President, including Senior Lender, CRA Officer, and Human Resources Director. Throughout her career she has worked in numerous capacities through various mergers, including the First American Bank and Barnett Bank merger, and the Great Southern Bank and Colonial Bank merger.
Originally from Alexandria, Virginia, Dawn is a graduate of Virginia Tech, where her daughter now attends. Dawn is also an Honors Graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and she is had obtained her Master of Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Additionally, she has been a licensed State Certified General Appraiser since 1993.
Dawn remains involved with many community organizations where she has held leadership positions, including the Chamber of the Palm Beaches, from which she is a graduate of Leadership West Palm Beach; the Florida Bankers Association; CREW Treasure Coast, where she is the Treasurer, and the Junior League of the Palm Beaches.

Pamela Joy Owens is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for Regent Bancorp and its wholly owned subsidiary Regent Bank Florida. Ms. Owens began her banking career with the Florida bank in 1989. She moved back home to South Carolina in 2000 to be closer to her family. Ms. Owens holds a Bachelor degree in business from Florida Atlantic University.

Charlene Bender

Charlene Bender started her banking career in Park Ridge, Illinois and continued in banking when she relocated to Fort Lauderdale. Her background includes commercial lending, real estate finance and wealth management. This background provides the ability to work with clients to determine an over-all assessment of a company’s needs to bring in team members to meet those needs.
Charlene graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with a major in Finance. She also completed the Cohen Brown Training and courses offered by the American Institute of Banking. She has held various licenses – 6, 7, 65 and Life, Health & Variable Annuity.
Charlene enjoys being involved in the community and has served as a member of many organizations, including holding numerous leadership rolls. Organizations in which Charlene has participated include the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Co-chair of Broward Partnership for the Homeless – Breakfast of Champions fundraiser, Notre Dame Fort Lauderdale Alumni Club Board of Directors and Greater Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. She is Past Chair of the Downtown Council and graduated in Class I from the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program. Charlene served as Program Chair for Leadership Fort Lauderdale Class III, Community Services Board member for the City of Fort Lauderdale and Board of Adjustment and Past President of Knoll Ridge Homeowner’s Association.

Pam Brownlee-Cooper is Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriter for Regent Bank. She has over 38 years of experience in banking and mortgage lending. Pam joined Regent Bank in 1986 after working for 12 years in both the wholesale and retail arenas of the mortgage banking industry in South Florida, where she held several leadership positions in the Mortgage Bankers’ Association.
In 1997, Pam moved with her children to Charlotte, North Carolina to be closer to family, and continues to work for Regent Bank. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Kent State University.

Originally from eastern Long Island, Steve Cohen moved to Florida with his family in 1981. He received an AA degree from Broward Community College, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova University.
A member of the Regent Bank family since 1993, and a part of the South Florida banking industry since 1987, Steve wears several hats. He is Senior Vice President, Senior Credit Administration Officer and Product Manager for Merchant Services.
Involved with his family and the community, Steve is a member of the Weston Area Chamber of Commerce. He has coached for Weston Area Little League, AYSO Athletics, YMCA Athletics, volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and is a Cypress Bay High School Band Parent Volunteer. Steve is also the Chairman of the NW Pompano Beach CRA Micro Enterprise Business Loan Fund Loan Committee.

Vikki Colucci is Vice President of Regent Bank’s Virtual Banking Division. She is a 20 year banking professional with prior experience in bank management, operations, technology and marketing. She has worked for financial institutions ranging from community banks to multistate banking organizations, including The South Financial Group: Mercantile Bank (Greenville, SC); Pointe Bank (Boca Raton, FL); Southern Community Bank (Orlando, FL); Peninsula Bank (San Diego, CA); Bank of Southern California (La Jolla, CA) and NCNB (Jacksonville, NC).
Vikki is active in community affairs and has served on numerous committees and boards including the board of her self-managed homeowner’s association, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, The Children’s Museum, Charities of Boca Raton, Inc., South Florida Finance Officer and City Clerks Association, among others.

Originally from Boston, MA, Kevin moved to South Florida and joined the Regent Bank team as the Mortgage Production Manager in 2000. Prior to joining Regent Bank, Kevin worked for Rockland Trust Company, Weymouth Cooperative Bank, & People’s Mortgage Corporation. With over 25 years of banking experience, Kevin has held various positions in Residential Lending including Managing, Underwriting, Secondary Market, Business Development, and Loan Workout.
Kevin was a past chair of the Broward Housing Partnership Membership & Fundraising Committee. He also enjoys volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. Kevin and his wife Jeanne moved to Florida shortly after getting married and have three boys. They enjoy traveling and volunteering with the various schools and sports activities within their community.

Renee Sass is Vice President of Human Resources and Training for Regent Bank. She is responsible for Recruitment and Staffing, Employee Development and Training, and Benefits and Compensation Administration.
She joined Regent Bank as a Market Manager for the Pompano Beach Office in March 2005. She has been in banking in South Florida for over 30 years and has held various professional and management positions in Human Resources, Residential Lending and Retail Banking. Renee holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Hofstra University in New York.
Renee is active in the community and has held numerous leadership positions. She served on the Board of Directors for the Pompano Beach Chamber of Commerce, Mortgage Bankers Association, Business Forum, Women’s Executive Club and Leadership Broward Alumni. She has also participated in leadership roles with Partners in Excellence, Fort Lauderdale Boat Parade, American Lung Association and many other community and civic organizations.
