Cyril "Sid" Spiro founded Regent Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Regent Bancorp, Inc., and remains Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of both companies. Prior to starting the Bank, Mr. Spiro served over nine years with Bank of America NT and SA with his last position as Vice President and Head of Southeast United States. Mr. Spiro during the course of his career has served in a variety of other assignments in Geneva, London, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Singapore and Vancouver B.C. He holds a Bachelor of Science Foreign Service Degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the Wharton School.

Committed to banking and the community, Mr. Spiro has chaired the Budget Advisory Committee, the Economic Development Council, Inc. and the Joint Economic Development Steering Committee for the Town of Davie. He has also served on the Board of Directors of the Plantation Chamber of Commerce, Davie/Cooper City Chamber of Commerce, the Rumbaugh-Goodwin Institute for Cancer Research, Inc. and the Florida Bankers' Association. Mr. Spiro is Past Chair of the Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the Independent Bankers' Bank of Florida. He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the Wharton Alumnae Association, Smart Growth Partnership and the Circle of Friends of the NSU Library as well as Co-chair of the Urban Core Committee and a member of the Executive Committee of the Broward Workshop and Chairman of the Broward Housing Partnership.

Neill LeCorgne is President and Chief Operating Officer of Regent Bank. Mr. LeCorgne joined Regent Bank from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Seattle , where he managed marketing teams in the Federal Home Loan Bank System for 14 years. In that capacity, he worked closely with bank management teams to develop strategies to meet their business challenges, retail and wholesale targets, and asset/liability management objectives. He was directly responsible for marketing, sales and business development in the Seattle Home Loan Bank district. Prior to joining the Federal Home Loan Bank System in 1991, Mr. LeCorgne worked at Florida National Bank and First Union Corporation in their South Florida corporate banking division. Mr. LeCorgne is a graduate of Florida International University in Miami with Bachelor degrees in Business Administration and International Relations.

Richard J. Gray

Richard Gray began his banking career in 1949 as an office boy/junior clerk with Bowery Savings Bank in New York . After a tour of military duty during the Korean War, he worked in various progressive positions in commercial banks culminating when he became President and Chief Operating Officer of Bank of Long Island, N.Y. After ten years with Bank of Long Island, Richard moved to Florida to become President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunset Financial Corporation/Sunset Bank of Miami. In 1988, together with an investor group, he founded Flamingo Bank in Pembroke Pines and subsequently merged it with Pointe Federal Savings Bank in 1994. Richard joined the Regent Bank family in 1997 as Executive Vice President.

Richard has 60 years as a community banker and consistently promotes our principles of "Today's Banking in Yesterdays' Tradition". He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach Round Table, member of the Board of Governors of the Governors Club and is involved in numerous civic and charitable organizations.

Jim has over 28 years of banking experience.  He joined Regent Bank in 1995 from First State Bank, where he was the Branch Administrator for three years.   Prior to that, he worked at Bank of America for 13 years, beginning his banking career as a part-time Teller at the age of 16 at what was then known as Pan American Bank. He worked in numerous capacities through various mergers, including NCNB and NationsBank name changes, until he left as a Branch Manager of one of Bank of America’s largest Florida offices.
 
Jim is originally from Levittown, Pennsylvania and met his wife, Lisa while the two worked together at Pan American Bank.  They have been married for 23 years and Lisa now works as a preschool teacher.  They have three daughters, one that graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers in 2008 and two others that currently attend the university.

 

 

 

David Mazza

Originally from Elizabeth, NJ, Dave Mazza moved to South Florida in 1959. After graduating from McArthur High School in Hollywood in 1965, he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1966. He became a Sergeant in Pararescue by the end of his enlistment in 1969. Dave holds an MBA from Nova University.

Dave began his career in banking in 1969 at Hollywood Federal Savings Bank. He became a member of the Regent Bank team in 1999 specializing in construction financing and commercial lending. Involved in many community and civic organizations, Dave is on the Board of Directors of the Broward Business Network and Liberia Economic and Social Development, Inc. He is also a member of Nova South Eastern University Alumni Association and volunteers for the Davie / Cooper City Chamber of Commerce.

Pamela Joy Owens is the Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer for the   Multi-Bank holding company Regent Bancorp and its wholly owned subsidiaries Regent Bank Greenville and Regent Bank Florida.  Ms. Owens began her banking career with the Florida bank in 1989.  She moved back home to South Carolina in 2000 to be closer to her family.  Ms. Owens holds a Bachelor degree in business from Florida Atlantic University.

Originally from eastern Long Island, Steve Cohen moved to Florida with his family in 1981. He received an AA degree from Broward Community College, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Florida Atlantic University, and obtained a Master of Business Administration degree from Nova University.

A member of the Regent Bank family since 1993, and a part of the South Florida banking industry since 1987, Steve wears several hats. He is Senior Vice President, Compliance Officer, and Product Manager for Merchant Services.

Involved with his family and the community, Steve is a member of the Weston Area Chamber of Commerce, Weston Business Chamber of Commerce, Greater Ft. Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, and the South Florida Lenders' Committee. He also coached for Westen Area Little League, AYSO Athletics, YMCA Athletics and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.

Jane Katterhenry has served as Vice President of Marketing for Regent Bank since 2001. She brings to the Bank over 25 years of experience. Her responsibilities include overseeing Bank events, promotional materials, corporate sponsorships and community involvement. She is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Business, and is actively involved in numerous community organizations. She currently serves as Chair of the Sustainers for the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, and on the Board of Directors for the Broward Cultural Foundation, Friends of Jack and Jill Children's Center, and Family Service Agency. She is a Past President of the Junior League of Greater Fort Lauderdale, Girl Scouts of Broward County and the Broward County Alumni Club of the Indiana University Alumni Association. Jane is a graduate of Leadership Broward, and a member of the New River Business Exchange, Broward Women's Alliance, Broward Roundtable, and Fort Lauderdale Historical Society. Jane was a 2005 March of Dimes Woman of Distinction.

Jane is an avid Big Ten basketball fan. She enjoys trips back to Indiana to visit her family, swimming and community volunteer work.
