Marilyn started her career in Northport, Long Island with Security National Bank. “I left banking for a period of time to raise my children. When the children were both of school age, I returned to banking at a community bank in Raleigh, NC,” Marilyn stated. Two years later she became an assistant manager with BB&T. After moving to Annapolis, MD, Marilyn became manager for a banking services program that trained women on public assistance for entry-level positions in banking.
Marilyn moved to Florida to be close to her aging parents. “My first interview was with Regent Bank, and I have been here fourteen years,” she stated.
